The Kingwood Pops Orchestra is funded by a combination of ticket sales, donations, and grants to meet the expenses of each concert, which include the purchase of music, decorations, and programs, as well as other necessities, such as the moving of equipment ad technical support, including professional assistance with lighting and sound.

In addition to those listed, the Kingwood Pops Orchestra is funded in part by grants from the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance.
